The tabs on the side are dedicated to each Orders of arthropods that I have caught or seen at Groton school so far. In each tabs, there will be descriptions of each Order, as well as pictures and descriptions of species that I have caught that belong to that Order. In the descriptions, you will see the Family, Genus, and Species of the critters. These are in order from the largest group to the smallest and could be useful in telling how similar members of one species are to those of another. I have arranged the pictures and descriptions in alphabetical order of the Family that they belong in.
Pictures on this site were either taken by me, a friend, or taken from the internet when I was unable to take a good picture.

Also, a random insect and facts about it will be displayed in the encyclopedia below. You can learn interesting things every time you visit!
And finally, if you see a strange insect or a bug on the Groton campus and it is not on the site, please keep it if possible or take some pictures and tell me. I will try my best to add it to the site after I identify it.
